What are NAL’s hours of operation?

How do I contact NAL?

Does NAL Accept Credit Cards?

Yes, we accept VISA, MASTERCARD or DISCOVER. For payments on-line or by phone, a $10 convenience fee applies.

Does NAL Accept e-checks?

Yes, we do on-line or by phone. You will have to provide your bank’s routing number (found on each check) and your bank account number. A $3 convenience fee applies for on-line e-checks or a $10 convenience fee applies to e-checks by phone.

How do I make a cash payment?


Ace Cash Express – An Ace Cash Express store is in your neighborhood! It is a quick, easy, and secure way to make a cash payment. To find your neighborhood store go to their website (http://www.acecashexpress.com) or call (888) 753-2384. Just ask to make a National Auto Lenders payment and have your account number ready. There will be an Ace Cash Express processing fee.

MoneyGram – There are many locations that process MoneyGram payments including all Wal-Mart and CVS/pharmacy locations.

You will need to know your account number and our National Auto Lenders Receive Code. Our Receive Code is 5053. There will be a MoneyGram processing fee.

Does NAL have automatic withdrawal?

Yes! Your vehicle is important to you. Don’t miss a payment by signing up for automatic withdrawal. It’s quick and easy and no need to worry about a check getting lost in the mail. Print this authorization form (in English or Spanish), complete it with you banking information (instructions are with the form), sign it and mail it to:

Am I required to have automobile insurance?

YES. ABSOLUTELY. Per your signed car loan/note, comprehensive and collision insurance is required for the life of your loan. You are required to provide evidence of insurance upon request. If NAL does not have proof of coverage, we will notify you that we need this information. Should you receive an insurance request notification, please contact your agent immediately and advise him or her to provide us with evidence of insurance, and ensure that he or she shows NAL as the loss payee.

Does NAL help establish Credit?

Yes, absolutely! Every 30 days NAL reports to all three major credit bureaus. Maintaining an “on time” payment rating will help you improve your credit. Helping to build and rebuild your credit is priority number one at NAL.

Once I have my new loan, how long will it take for NAL loan information to show up in my credit report?

Normally, your credit report should start showing your new NAL loan within 3 months of your purchase. Your credit information is very important to us. The extra time before we start reporting allows us to make sure that the report is accurate.

What if I have bad credit or no credit at all?

As long as you have a verifiable address, a verifiable job, and a phone, you are eligible for a loan with NAL. We want to help you establish your credit for a better tomorrow.

What if I have had a repossession or bankruptcy?

NAL will sometimes finance individuals with prior repossessions and bankruptcies, but these situations will be considered on an individual basis.

Does NAL lend directly to the consumer?

No, NAL is an indirect lender and purchases retail installment contracts entered into by auto dealers with consumers who are typically unable to obtain financing from traditional lending sources.

What are the factors NAL considers when making each loan?

NAL’s flexible lending programs allow us to evaluate each customer on an individual basis. Among the qualifications NAL considers when making each loan are the customer’s ability to make payments, employment history, and ability to provide proof of residence.

How much is my payment?

The amount of your payment can be found in your payment coupon booklet or in the retail installment contract that you received from the dealer when you bought the car. You may also call NAL and get the amount of your payment.

How do I find my account number?

You can find your account number in your coupon payment booklet or you may call NAL.

What information should I enclose with my payment?

You must enclose the payment coupon with your check or money order. If you don’t have your payment coupon available, you can print & fill out these coupons to enclose with your check or money order.

When are my payments due?

The exact due date is in the coupon payment booklet that you received through the mail. If you are not sure please contact our Customer Service Department at (305) 828-8730.

When is my first payment due?

You will find the due date on the retail installment contract or in the coupon payment booklet that you receive through the mail.

How do I change my billing address or phone number information?

How can I get a copy of my recent statement?

How do I get a pay-off amount for my loan?

What should I do if I believe there are errors in my account information?

If my vehicle has been repossessed, what is the procedure for recovery?

Please call (305) 828-8730 to redeem (to pay-off the full balance of the loan) your vehicle or determine if you qualify for reinstatement (to reinstate the contract; continue making payments).

What do I do if my vehicle has been in an accident?

After you have contacted your insurance company, please call our Insurance department at (305) 828-8760.

I received an insurance check for repairs to my vehicle. In order for me to make payment to the body shop and claim my vehicle, NAL must endorse the check. How do I go about getting a signature from NAL?
